Apply for a $1,000 scholarship for Prince George's County graduating high school students.

The Morgan State University Prince George's County Alumni Chapter is excited to announce our scholarship program for Prince George's County students! We are offering up scholarships for graduating high school seniors who have been accepted to Morgan State University and plan to attend in Fall 2026.

Overview

MSU PGCAC offers scholarship awards to Prince George's County residents and graduating Prince George's County High School seniors. Open to graduating Prince George's County high school seniors who have been accepted and plan to attend our beloved Morgan State University as full-time students during the Fall 2026 semester. The applicant must plan to enroll and attend Morgan State University for the upcoming academic school year.

Application Process:

 

Eligibility

If selected to receive this scholarship, the applicant must meet the following:

  • Resident of Prince George's County, Maryland

  • Graduating Senior from a High School in Prince George's County

  • Accepted and Plans to Attend Morgan State University

  • Minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

  • All items from the application checklist must be provided. If not submitted by the deadline, the application will be considered complete and not be considered.

Beats & Bingo Scholarship Fundraiser

 

The Morgan State University Prince George’s County Alumni Chapter hosts the annual Beats & Bingo Scholarship Brunch to raise funds for the MSUPGCAC Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to Prince George’s County students attending Morgan State University.

This event brings together alumni, community members, and supporters for an afternoon of music, bingo, brunch, and fellowship — all in support of educational opportunities for future Morgan Bears.

Proceeds from this event directly support scholarships awarded by the chapter each year.
